What Happens When You Call
We start with a few plain questions. Where is the property, who is on the title, and how soon do you need to be done? If it is an inherited or probate house, or a sale during a divorce, we walk through the steps in order and point out where delays usually come from. If you are buying, we talk about the areas and the budget you have in mind.
We have worked as a real estate agent since 2015 and became a licensed real estate broker in 2021. We also hold the Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert designation. If it makes sense to keep going after the call, we set up a time to meet at our office or over video. Nobody is asked to sign anything on the first call.
A Few Things That Help on the First Call
- Where the property sits and a word or two on its shape, even just needs work or ready to move into.
- Who holds title, or the name of the executor or administrator handling the estate.
- What is still owed on any loan against it, and a rough number is fine.
- A target date for closing or moving out, if one is already set.
